Abstract
Purpose: The study was conducted to determine the level of public knowledge about clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors and balanced nutrition is expected to stimulate public awareness of the risks of clean and healthy living behavior and balanced nutrition.
Methodology: Respondents were 50 Tumbang Tahai residents and they completed questionnaires during May 2023. The questionnaire used in this study was the Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Behaviors and Balanced Nutrition Knowledge-Level Scale.
Findings: The results were obtained based on research conducted on 50 respondents.The respondents’ characteristics were dominated by primary school students, and aged 8-10 years. Of the 50 respondents, 78% had a low level of knowledge and 22% had a high level of knowledge.
Limitation: The respondents were only 50 people, which is certainly still not enough to describe the real situation, and in the data collection process, the information provided by the respondent through a questionnaire sometimes does not show the opinion of the respondent. In fact, this happens because of the honesty factor in filling out the opinions of respondents in the questionnaire.
Contribution: The results of this study can be used as material for consideration for the public health and community development, clinical medicine of nutrition, community engagement and education to be more aware of clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors and balanced nutrition and reduce the risk of clean and healthy lifestyle behaviors and balanced nutrition and other non-communicable diseases.
